NCAA State Restrictions
On this page
Many jurisdictions we operate in have different rules regarding what events we're allowed to offer bets on. One of the most common restrictions you will see is when a state restricts wagering on events that involve an amateur/college team from within the same state. For example, you are not allowed to wager on any games involving in-state Virginia colleges in Virginia. So this would mean that even if Virginia Tech is playing an away game at Oregon, you still cannot wager on that game taking place in Oregon due to the game involving an amateur Virginia team.
Amateur Betting Restrictions:
Illinois: Cannot offer any lines on events involving an amateur IL team.
New Jersey: Cannot offer any lines on events involving an amateur NJ team.
New York: Cannot offer any lines on events involving an amateur NY team.
Virginia: Cannot offer any lines on events involving an amateur VA team.
Delaware: Cannot offer any lines on events involving an amateur DE team.
Maryland: Cannot offer player props for games involving amateur MD teams. Can offer general lines though, such as moneyline or over/under.
